Configuration

Select a language

On the operator panel of the Océ TDS400 Printer y ou can indicate which
language you use to display the printer information, like status and error
messages.
Selecta l anguage
1Pressthe On-line key to put the printer off-line.
2Selectthe ‘Configuration’ item with the or key.
3PressNext/select to enter the ‘Configuration’menu.
4Select ‘Language’ with the or key.
5Press Next/select to enter the ‘Language’ menu.
6Selectthe desired language with the or key.
7PressNext/select to confirm the selected language.
8PressOn-line to put the printer on-line again.
9Turnthe pri nter ‘off’ and ‘on’ again.

Network settings

TheOcé TDS400 has 2 networkadapters. Toset the networksettings you must
enterthe network data in4 fields.
UseDHCP server. The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol( DHCP) is a
protocol to automate the assignment of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses in a
network. Without DHCP,the IP address mus tbe ent ered manually.
IPaddress. An I Pad dress has two parts: one part identifies the network (with
thenetworknumber) and the otherpart identifiesthe specific machineor host
withinthe network (with the host number).
Subnetmask.A subnet (short for ‘subnet work’) is an identifiablyseparate
part of an organization's network. To manage routing that could an d should
be handled within an organization.
Setdefau lt gateway A gateway is a network point that acts as an entran ce to
anothernetwork.
Pressthe followi ng keyseq uence to enter the System menu on the printer to set
thenetwork settings.
