User modes
Thefollowing user modes areavailable:
■Anonymous user mode
■Repro operator mode
■Keyope rator mode
■Systemadministrator mode
■Service operator mode
Thea nonymous user mode only offers monitoring capabil ities. Youare not
allowed to change anything.
Therepro ope rator,the key op erator and the system administrator modes allow
you to perform a number of user actions.
Inthe Queue Manage rand theSystem Control Panel the re pro operator, the key
operator and the system administrator have the same user rights. The repr o
operator, the keyope rator and the system administrator modes allow you to
perform a number of activities on the jobs in the queue, with the help of the
Abort, Delete, Resume and Hold buttons.
Int he Settings Editor, however, the user modes offer different rights. In repro
operatormode , the operator is allowed to only view settings in the keyoperator
andsystem administrator views.
Inkey o perator mode, the operator is allowed to view an d change settings in
thekey operator view. The key operator is also allowedto view system
administrationsettings, but is not able to change them.
Ins ystem administrator mode, the operato ri s allowed to view and change
settingsin the system administrator view.The system administrator is also
allowedto view key operator settings,but is not able to change them.
The service operator mode is meant for the Océ technician.
When you are not authorised to perform a c ertain action, the action is grayed
out.
Note:The s tatus bar at the bottom displays the ac tive user mode.
