14.3 Making a call for servicing
For the Toshiba service network, refer to the back cover of this instruction manual. If defective conditions are
encountered, please contact th e Toshiba service section i n charge via your Toshiba dea ler.
When making a call for servic ing, please inform u s of the contents o f the rating label on the right panel of t he inverter,
the presence or absence of op tional devices, etc ., in addition to the details of the failu re.
14.4 Keeping the inverter in storage
Take the following precautions when k eeping the inverter in storage tempora rily or for a long p eriod of time.
1. Store the inverter in a well-ve ntilated place away from heat, damp, d ust and metal powde r.
(storage temperature:-25~+70°C)
2. If no power is supplied to th e inverter for a l ong time, the perfor mance of its large-ca pacity electrolytic capacitor
declines.
When leaving the inverter unu sed for a long time, supply it with ele ctricity once every t wo years, for 5 ho urs or
more each, to recover the perfo rmance of the la rge-capacity electrol ytic capacitor. And also che ck the function of
the inverter. It is advisable not to supply the commer cial power directl y to the inverter but to gradually inc rease the
power supply voltage with a tra nsformer, etc.
