5Prestore Prestore allows you to store two qualified states before each state that is stored. There is only one qualifier that enables prestore for each sequence level. If you select this field, you will see a pop-up with the options Off and On. Selecting On gives you a qualifier pop-up menu like that in figure 5-48, from which you choose the pattern, range or combination of patterns and ranges that you want to prestore.

During a measurement, the state analyzer stores in prestore memory occurrences of the states you specify for prestore. A maximum of two occurrences can be stored. If there are more than two occurrences, previous ones are pushed out. When the analyzer finds a state that has been specified for storage, the prestore states are pushed on top of the stored state in memory and are displayed in the State Listing.
