Brightness Timer

The "Brightness Timer" option allows you to set the amount of time you want the LCD display to stay illuminated before turning the backlight off during a period of inactivity. For example, if you set the brightness timer to 60, when the phone reaches 60 seconds of inactivity, the LCD backlight goes off.

Setting Brightness Timer

For the 6739i:

3.Press the <Brightness Timer> button. A text box displays.

4.Press the text box. A pop-up keyboard displays.

5.Press the “123” key and enter a value, in seconds, for the Brightness Timer. You can set the Brightness Timer from 0 to 7200 seconds. Default is 600 (10 minutes).
