1.Click on Basic Settings-> Preferences->General.

2.Enable the "Display DTMF Digits" field by checking the check box. (Disable this field by unchecking the box). Default is disabled.

3.Click Save Settings to save your changes.

You must restart your IP phone for the changes to take effect.

4.Click on Operation->Reset.

5.In the “Restart Phone” field click Restart to restart the IP phone and apply the changes.

Filter Out Incoming DTMF Events

An Administrator can enter a parameter in the configuration files to suppress incoming DTMF playback. This new param- eter called “suppress incoming dtmf playback” will suppress the playback of both SIP INFO and RFC2833 incoming DTMF tones. The locally generated DTMF tones will still be played.

Use the following procedures to suppress incoming DTMF playback on the IP phone.
