7.Use the following table to configure the applicable server.

TFTP Settings

In the Primary Server field, enter the IP address or fully qualified domain name of the primary TFTP server.

In the Pri TFTP Path field, enter the path name for which the configuration files reside on the TFTP server for downloading to the IP Phone. If the IP phone’s files are located in a sub-directory beneath the server’s root directory, the relative path to that sub-directory should be entered in this field. Enter the path name in the form folderX\folderX\folderX. For example, ipphone\6867i\configfiles.

Optional: You can also configure an Alternate TFTP server and Alternate TFTP Path if required by selecting the Use Alt TFTP checkbox and entering the alternate path in the Alt TFTP Path field.

FTP Settings

In the FTP Server field, enter the IP address or fully qualified domain name of the FTP server.

In the FTP Path field, enter the path name for which the configuration files reside on the FTP server for down- loading to the IP Phone. If the IP phone’s files are located in a sub-directory beneath the server’s root directory, the relative path to that sub-directory should be entered in this field. Enter the path name in the form folderX\folderX\folderX. For example, ipphone\6867i\configfiles.

Optional: You can enter a username and password for accessing the FTP server if required by entering them in the FTP Username and FTP Password fields.

HTTP Settings

In the HTTP Server field, enter the IP address of the HTTP server.

In the HTTP Port field, enter the HTTP port that the server uses to load the configuration to the phone over HTTP. Default is 80.

In the HTTP Path field, enter the path name for which the configuration files reside on the HTTP server for downloading to the IP Phone. If the IP phone’s files are located in a sub-directory beneath the server’s root directory, the relative path to that sub-directory should be entered in this field. Enter the path name in the form folderX\folderX\folderX. For example, ipphone\6867i\configfiles.

HTTPS Settings

In the HTTPS Server field, enter the IP address of the HTTPS server.

In the HTTPS Port field, enter the HTTPS port that the server uses to load the configuration to the phone over HTTPS. Default is 443.

In the HTTPS Path field, enter the path name for which the configuration files reside on the HTTPS server for downloading to the IP Phone. If the IP phone’s files are located in a sub-directory beneath the server’s root directory, the relative path to that sub-directory should be entered in this field. Enter the path name in the form folderX\folderX\folderX. For example, ipphone\6867i\configfiles.

In the HTTPS Client Method field, select the client method to use for downloading the configuration files (SSl 3.0 or TLS 1.0). For more information about which client method to use, see the section, “HTTPS Client/Server Configuration” on page 4-33.

8.Press the Save softkey.

9.Restart the phone for the change to take affect.
