The following configuration illustrates how to create a user with an extension to make and receive calls using the Aster- isk as the PBX. This configuration is defined in the sip.conf file present along with the other configuration files that are created when Asterisk is installed. Usually, the configuration files can be found at the /etc/asterisk directory.
