E-Series Original command
line
Enable and configure console and virtual terminal lines to the system. This command accesses LINE
mode, where you can set the access conditions for the designated line.
Z9500
Syntax line {console 0 | vty number [end-number]}
Parameters console 0 Enter the keyword console 0 to configure the console
port. The console option for the S-Series is <0-0>.
vty number Enter the keyword vty then a number from 0 to 9 to
configure a virtual terminal line for Telnet sessions. The
system supports 10 Telnet sessions.
end-number (OPTIONAL) Enter a number from 1 to 9 as the last virtual
terminal line to configure. You can configure multiple lines at
one time.
