DEPENDENCIES
Set this parameter equal to the number of field variable depende ncies included in the definition
of the parameters, in addition to temperature. If this parameter is omitted, it is assumed that the
parameters depend only on temperature. See “Specifying field variable dependence” in “Material
data definition,” Section16.1.2 of the ABAQUS Analysis User’s Manual, for more information.
SHEAR
Set SHEAR=G to define the deviatoric behavior with a constant shear modulus G.Set
SHEAR=POISSON (default) to compute the instantaneous sh ear modulus from the bulk modulus
and Poisson’sratio. The Poisson’sratio should be given on the data lines.
Data lines to define the deviatoric behaviorwith a constant shear modulus G:
First line:
1. Valueof the logarithmic bulk modulus, . (Dimensionless.)
2. Value of the shear modulus, G.
3. Valueof the elastic tensile limit, . (This value cannot be negative.)
4. Temperature, .
5. Firstfield variable.
6. Etc., up to four field variables.
