*SOLUBILITY
18.23 *SOLUBILITY: Specify solubility.
This option is used to define the solubility for a material diffusing through a base m aterial. It must be used in
conjunction with the *DIFFUSIVITY option.

Optional parameter:
DEPENDENCIES
Setthis param eter equal to the number of field variable dependencie s included in the definition of the
solubility. If this parameter is omitted, it is assume d that the solubility is constant or that it depends
only on temperature. See “Specifying field variable dependence” in “Material data definition,”
Section 16.1.2 of the ABAQUS Analysis User’s Manual, form ore information.
Data lines to define solubility:
First line:
1. Solubility. (Units of PLF−1/2.)
2. Temperature, .
3. Firstfield variable.
4. Second field variable.
5. Etc., up to six field variables.
Subsequent lines (only needed if the DEPENDENCIES parameterhas a value greater than six):
1. Seventhfield variable.
2. Etc.,up to eight field variables per line.
Repeat this set of data lines as often as necessary to define the solubility as a function of temperature
and other predefined field variables.
