*UNIAXIAL TEST DATA
20.3 *UNIAXIAL TEST DATA: Used to provide uniaxial test data (compression and/or
tension).
Thisoption is us ed to provide uniaxial test data. Itcanbe use d only in conjunction with the *HYPERELASTIC
option, the *HYPERFOAM option, and the *MULLINS EFFECT option.

Using uniaxial test data to define a hyperelastic material

*HYPERELASTIC
Optional parameter:
SMOOTH
Includethis pa rameter to apply a smoothing filter to the stress-strain data. Ifthe parameter is omitted,
no smoothing is performed.
Set this parameter equal to the number nsuch that is equal to the total number of
data points in the moving window through which a cubic polynomial is fit us ing the least-squares
method. nshould be larger than 1. The default is SMOOTH=3.
Optional parameter when the *UNIAXIAL TEST DATAoption is used in con junction with the
*HYPERELASTIC, MARLOW option:
DEPENDENCIES
Set this parameter equal to the number of field variable dependencies included in the definition of
the test data. If this param eter is omitted, it is assumed that the test data depend only on tem perature.
Data lines to specify uniaxial test data forhyperelasticity other than the Marlow model:
First line:
1. Nominal stress, .
2. Nominal strain, .
Repeat this data line as often as necessary to give the stress-strain data.
