18.25 *SOLVERCONTROLS: Specify controls for the iterative linear solver.

This option is used to set the control parameters for the iterative linear equationsolver.

Optional parameter:

RESET

Include this parameter to reset all of the solvercontrols to their default values. The optionshould

have no data lines when this parameter is used.

If this parameter is omitted, only the speciﬁed controls wi ll be changed in the current step; the

other controls will remain at their settings from previoussteps.

Data line to deﬁne control parameters:

First (and only) line:

1. Relativetolerance for convergence. Thedefault is 10−6 .

2. Maximumnumber of linear solver iterations. The defaultis 300.

3. Number of domains. By default, ABAQUS/Standard will determine the number of domains

automatically based on the number of equations in the mod el. The number of domains must

always be greater than or equal to the number of CPUs.
