For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003:
aOpen Control Panel.
bSelect Network Connections.

dSelect Wireless Network tab.
eEnsure that the check box for Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings is checked.
fClick Advanced.
gYou can either set the printer to the
For Adhoc mode:
Select Computer to Computer (ad hoc) networks only and close the dialog box.
For Infrastructure mode:
Select Access point (Infrastructure) networks only and close the dialog box.
hClick Add to display Wireless network properties.
iEnter the setting that you will send to the printer and click OK.
jClick Move up to move the setting to the top of the list.
kClick OK to close the Property dialog box.
For Windows Vista:
aOpen Control Panel.
bSelect Network and Internet.
cSelect Network and Sharing Center.
dSelect Connect to a network.
eSelect the network, and then click Connect.
