Saving Sound Files to Your Computer Hard Disk

Once in the driver, a sound file recorded with the camera back appears as a small icon below the lower left hand corner of an image thumbnail, as shown on the next page. When the image is copied or moved to a folder, the sound file(s) associated with the image are also copied or moved, with each separate recording becoming a separate file on the computer hard disk. Up to 99 sound files can be recorded between two images.

When you click on the icon, if a single sound file was recorded, it is played through the Macintosh computer speaker. If multiple sound files were recorded at this point, clicking the sound icon displays a popup menu of each sound (named SOUND 1, SOUND 2, etc.). Select an item from the popup menu to play its sound.
