In order to achievesuccessful VoIP, a minimumamount of bandwidth must

be reserved. Bandwidth is not guaranteed unless QoS mechanisms are

implemented.

Calculate Ethernet and WAN bandwidth usage

Table17 "Silence Suppression disabled TLAN Ethernet and WAN IP

bandwidth usage per IP Trunk3.01 (and later) " (page113) liststhe Ether net

and WAN bandwidth use of IP Trunk3.01 (and later) ports with different

codecs with Silence Suppression Disabled. One por t is a channel fully

loaded to 36 CCS, where one CCS (Centi-Call-Second) is a channel/circuit

being occupied 100 seconds. 36 CCS is a circuit occupied for a full hour.
