Retrieve IP Trunk 3.01 (and later) configuration information from the IP
Trunk 3.0 (and later) node
Use the optional Procedure 58 "Retrieving the IP Trunk3.01 (and later)
configuration data from the IP Trunk3.01 (and later) node" (page 357) in the
following situations:
•when adding an IP Trunk3.01 (and later) node on TM 3.1 by retrieving
an existing node
•when it is known that the IP Trunk3.01 (and later) node configuration
on the IP trunk card is different from the TM 3.1 IP Trunk 3.01 (and
later) database (for example, during maintenance and fault isolation
procedures)
•when there are multiple TM 3.1 PCs with multiple instances of the
database (administration)
Use the TM 3.1 ITG menu Configuration > Synchronize > Retrieve
command to retrieve the IP Trunk3.01 (and later) configuration information
from the IP Trunk3.01 (and later) node.

Retrieving the IP Trunk3.01 (and later) configuration data from the IP Trunk
3.01 (and later) node
Step Action
1Launch TM 3.1 and double-click the ITG ISDN IP Trunksicon from
the Services folder. The IP Telephony Gateway - ISDN IP Trunk
window opens.
2Select Leader 0 or any card from the node.
3Select menu Configuration > Synchronize > Retrieve. The ITG -
Retrieve Options window appears.
4Check the boxesfor the IP Trunk 3.01 (and later) configuration data
to be retrieved.
Select Node Properties,Card Properties, and Dialing Plan if the
TM 3.1 IP Trunk3.01 (and later) data is out of date and all TM 3.1 IP
Trunk3.01 (and later) node data is to be synchronized with the data
from the IP trunk cards on the node.
Select Card Properties to add an IP Trunk3.01 (and later) node
on TM 3.1 by retrieving from an existing node that contains more
than one card.
Select any combination of check boxesas indicated by problem
symptoms when attempting to isolate a problem on a particular IP
trunk card. Use the "dummy" node for this purpose.
