Installing the NTCW84KA cable

Step Action

1Connect the NTCW84KA cable see to the I/O panel connector (see

Figure 36 "NTCW84KA ELAN, TLAN, DCH, and serial cable" (page

197)).

Make sure to connect to the I/O panel connector that corresponds to

the left slot number of the DCHIP card.

2Secure the mounting screw provided on the top of the Shielded

25-Pair Amphenol Connector to the I/O Panel ﬁlter connector in

order to tie the shield of the LAN cable to the frame ground forEMC

compliance.
