Therefore, the SNMP traps will be sent to the TLAN router.
WARNING
Nortel recommends the SNMP client (that is, the TM3.1 PC) not
be put on the TLAN subnet.
Placing the TM 3.1 PC on the ELAN subnet is a more secure
configuration. Additionally, incorrectly configuring the SNMP trap
IP address can adversely affectrouting on the IP tr unk card, which
can preventthe IP tr unk card from sending or receiving calls.
