Only one person can use the ITG shell at a time. Any session, local or

Telnet,can be overridden by a second session. The second user receives

a warning before the login and must conﬁrm to complete the login. There

is a 20-minute Telnetshell activity time-out limit.

Telnet to an IP trunk card through the TM 3.1 PC

Follow the steps in Procedure 61 "Telnettingto an IP trunk card through the

TM 3.1 PC" (page 370) to Telnetto an IP trunk card through the TM 3.1 PC.

Step Action

1In the TM 3.1 Navigator window select the IP TelephonyGateway

icon from the Services folder.

2Select a card from the lower portion of the window. Click the right

mouse button. Select Telnet to ITG card (see Figure 147 "Select

card and open Telnetsession" (page 371)). The PC opens a Telnet

window and automatically connects to the IP trunk card by using the

card Elan network interface IP address.

3When prompted to login, enter current username and password.

Default is:

VxWorks login: itgadmin

Password: itgadmin
