268 Install and conﬁgure IP Trunk3.01 (and later) node

2Verifythat the TN, ELAN network interface MAC addresses, and IP

addresses are conﬁgured correctly for each IP trunk card. Select

any card in the IP Trunk3.01 (and later) node in the TM 3.1 ITG –

ISDN IP Trunkwindow and select menu Conﬁguration > Node >

Properties from the drop-down lists. Compare the values displayed

on the General tab and the Card Conﬁguration tab with those on

the IP Trunk3.01 (and later) Installation Summary Sheet. The ITG –

TransmitOptions dialog box appears.

3Correct errors and retransmit Node Properties.

4Reboot all cards for which Node Properties have changed.

Transmitcard properties and dialing plan to Leader 1 and Follower cards

Verifythat the IP trunk cards are disabled before transmitting card proper ties.

Note: Disable IP trunk cards when transmitting card properties or new

software.

Use the TM 3.1 Maintenance Windows, the TM 3.1 System Passthru

terminal, or use a system management terminal directly connected to a

TTY port on the system. Wait for the NPR0011 message, which indicates

that all units on each card are disabled.Use the LD 32 DISI command to

disable the IP trunk cards when idle. In the IP Telephony Gateway- ISDN

IP Trunkwindow, select View > Refresh and verify that the card status is

showing "Disabled". If the card status shows "unequipped", conﬁgure the

card in LD 14.

Follow the steps in Procedure 31 "Transmitcard properties and dialing plan

to Leader 1 and Follower cards" (page 268) to transmit the card properties

and dialing plan to the Leader 1 and FollowerIP tr unk cards.

Step Action

1Select the IP Trunk3.01 (and later) node for which properties are to

be transmitted from the list in the upper part of the window.

2Select Leader 0 from the list in the lower part of the window.

3In the IP Telephony Gateway - ISDN IP Trunkwindow, select

Conﬁguration > Synchronize > Transmit.

4Keepthe radio button default setting of Transmit to selected nodes.

Check the Card Properties and Dialing plan check boxes.
