OSS (OPERATING SYSTEM SOFTWARE) MESSAGES

OS Level 8: Probable severe software error

Warns of probable severe software errors.

OS8010	Input found nothing to print.
	The file just processed by input has generated no printed output. The
	File is a null file (consisting of only a name), or the JDE used to
	process the file was incorrect.
Action	Enter the correct JDE and restart the job.
	or
	Recreate the job.
OS8050	IPD internal initialization; failure.
	An unexpected error was detected when initializing IPD and the job
	was then aborted.
Action	1. Reset the system before entering the next START command.
	a. Enter the RESET command.
	b.	Resend the job.
	2. If the message reappears, stop communications via HIP and
	reboot the system.
	a. If HIP is active, enter the HIPSTOP: OFFLINE command.
	b. Press the Boot button and enter B.
	c. Enter the HIP ONLINE;START command, if desired.
	d.	Resend the job.
	e.	If the problem continues, resysgen, if authorized to do so,
