Before You Start

This E-mail chapter assumes you have a general knowledge of your network and the operation of your Web Browser software.

List of items needed before you can setup the Scan to E-mail:

•Document Centre printer is functional on your Network

•Document Centre printer has TCP/IP enabled

•Document Centre printer has HTTP enabled

•Access to a functional SMTP Mail Server

•IP address of SMTP Mail Server

•E-mail and Network Scanning installed

•E-mail domain available (e.g. @mail.company.com)

•Workstation(s) connected to network which has the TCP/IP enabled

•DNS enabled
