This procedure assumes that any TCP/IP components necessary for

 

network installation have already been assigned to the Document

 

Centre. If these components have not been configured, please refer

 

to the appropriate information contained within the section entitled

 

Dynamic/Static IP Addresses & WINS before continuing further.

Verify that the TCP/IP protocol stack is loaded.

 

2.

Use the CentreWare Network Services CD-ROM to install

 

 

print drivers. Details for this are found in the document sup-

 

 

plied with your printer entitled CentreWare Network Ser-

 

 

vices Guide.

Windows 95/98, Windows NT 4.X Workstation and

Windows 2000 Users

Add a network printer as you normally would.

Browse for and Double-click the name of the WorkGroup for the printer as shown on the Configuration Report.

Double-click the NetBIOS Host Name of the printer as shown on the Configuration Report.

Click once on the Printer Name as shown on the Configura- tion Report then click OK.

For a new printer you will be prompted for a print driver. Select Have Disk and browse to the directory with the Docu- ment Centre driver, select it then click OK.

3.Open an application and print a test page to verify operation.

4.If your print job does not print, refer to the Troubleshooting section of this document to solve the problem.

5.Check your test job for quality and use the Problem Solving section of the Document Centre Reference Guide for resolving print defects.

6.Repeat this Go to the workstation and... procedure for each workstation on the network that will print to the printer.
