To enable 100BaseT or a Token Ring interface, refer to Chapter 2

How to Connect to Ethernet or Token Ring Networks to

configure the Speed and Source Routing settings for your

environment.

NOTE

Your Document Centre now has DHCP, LPR, and NetBIOS over

the IP protocol enabled by default. If your DHCP server will

provide host name, IP address, Gateway address, and Subnet Mask,

the Document Centre TCP/IP information will be configured on

initial boot. This means that if you have configured your DHCP

server with the desired information, you may go right to the

heading in this section entitled Go to a Workstation and....

For information on how your printer can connect to a BOOTP

server, or a RARP server to be assigned an IP address dynamically,

refer to the section in this document entitled Dynamic/Static IP

Addresses & WINS. Information in regards to static IP address

configuration may be found within that section as well.
