SELECTING THE DISCONNECT TIME
To select the disconnect time for tie lines, follow these steps:
1Enter administration mode by slding the T/P switich to P.
2Press Conference twice.
The administration menu appears.
3Press [More], [More], [More], [TieLines], [More], [More]. [InDisc] .
The in disconnect screen appears.
4 Dial the line number or press the line button of a tie line, then press [Enter].
The current setting is displayed.
5 Press [Drop] to remove the old setting.
NOTE: Press [Exit] if you do not want to change the setting.
The in disconect screen appears.
6Dial the new setting.
>time = 140 to 2400 ms (increments of 10)
>time = 300 (default)
NOTE: Use the backspace button to erase numbers incorrectly dialed.
7Press [Enter]. The system will round down to the nearest increment.
The in disconnect screen appears.
8Repeat steps 4 and 7 for each line port.
9Press [Exit] and repeat steps 3 through 8 again, except select [OutDisc] instead of [InDisc] to select the outgoing disconnect time.
10Press Conference to return to the main administration menu, or leave administration mode by sliding the T/P switch to the center position.
