SNTP Commands

 

 

This section provides a detailed explanation of the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) commands. The commands are comprised of two functional groups:

Configuration Commands configure features and options of the switch.

Show commands display settings, statistics, and other information. For every configuration command there is a show command that displays the configuration setting.

sntp broadcast client poll-interval

 

This command sets the poll interval for SNTP broadcast clients in seconds as a power of two

 

where poll-intervalcan be a value from 6 to 16.

Syntax

sntp broadcast client poll-interval poll-interval

 

Use the no sntp broadcast client poll-intervalversion of this command to reset the poll

 

interval for SNTP broadcast client back to its default value.
