Display Language (#303)

Description

This System Programming procedure identifies the language in which display messages appear if the extension has a system display phone. The language is set for each extension, so phones in the same system can display different languages.

Considerations

If SMDR is used, the call report header is printed in the language specified for extension 10.

Valid Entries

1 = English ✔

2 = Spanish

3 = French

Programming

To change the Display Language setting for an extension:

1.Press [ Feature ] [ 0 ] [ 0 ] [ System Program ] [ System Program ] [ # ] [ 3 ] [ 0 ] [ 3 ].

2.Enter the number of the extension to be programmed. For example, to

program extension 11, press [ 1 ] [ 1 ]. The current display language displays.

3.To change the display language, press [ Next Data ] until the appropriate value displays.

4. To change the display language for another extension, press [ Next Item ] or [ Prev Item ] until the extension number shows on the display. Then repeat Step 3.

5.Select another procedure or exit programming mode.
