than or equal to this value, the PIC will turn off the cond enser pump relay and go int o a
RECYCLE mode. If the water/br ine temperature i s high enough, the start-up sequence
continues on to check the guide vane position. If the guide vanes are more than 6% ope n, the
start-up waits un til the PIC closes t he vanes. If the va nes are closed, and the oil pump press ure
is less than 3 psid (21 kPad), the o il pump relay wi ll then be energized . The PIC then waits until
the

OIL PRESS (Pressure) VERIFY TIME

(operator configured, default 15 seconds) for oil
pressure to reach 18 psid (124 kPad). After oil pressure is verified, the PIC waits 10 seconds,
and then the compressor start relay (1CR) is energized to start the compressor.
Failure to verify any of the requirements up to t his point will result in the PIC aborting the star t
and displaying the app lic a ble pre-start mode of fa ilure on the LID default s c r een . A pre-start
failure does not advan c e th e starts in 12 hours counter . Any failure after the 1CR r el ay has
energized results in a safety shutdown, advances the starts i n the 12 hours count er by one, and
displays the applicabl e shutdown status on t he LI D display.
Shutdown Sequence
