19XL Machine Equalization with Pumpout Unit
The following p rocedure describe s how to equ alize refrigera nt pressure on an isolated 19 XL
machine using the pum pou t unit:
1. Access the TERMINATE LOCKOUT mode in the Control Test.
2. Turn on the chilled wate r and condenser water pu mps to prevent possibl e freezing.
3. Open valve 4 on the pum pout unit and open va lves 1a and 1b on the coo ler and condenser,
Figure 27 and Figure 28. Slowly open v alve 2 on the pumpou t unit to equalize the pressure.
This process will tak e app roximately 15 minute s.
4. Once the pressures ha v e equ alized, the dischar ge isolation valve, coole r isolation valve,
optional hot gas bypas s is ol ation valve, and the re fri gerant isolation val ve can be opened.
Close valves 1a and 1b, and all pumpout unit valves.

locking device. This will prevent the valve from opening or closing during service
