extremely low loads should be reduced. To reduce compressor recycling, use the time sch edule
to shut the machine down dur i ng low load operation or inc r ea se the machine load by run nin g
the fan systems. If the hot gas bypass is installed, adjust the values to ensure that hot gas is
energized during light load conditions. Incr ea se the RECYCLE RESTART DE LT A T on the
Service1 table to lengt he n the time between restart s.
The machine sho uld not be ope rated below desig n minimum load w ithout a hot ga s bypass
installed on the machi ne.
Safety Shutdown
A safety shutdown is iden tical to a manual shutdown with the exception that th e LI D will
display the reaso n for the shutdo wn, the alarm ligh t will blink co ntinuously, and the spare alarm
contacts will be energized. A safety shutdown requires that the RESET softkey be pressed in
order to clear the alarm . I f t he al arm is still present, the alarm light will continue t o blink. Once
the alarm is cleared, the operator must press the CCN or LO CAL softkeys to restart the
machine.
