Check Safety and Operating Controls Monthly

To ensure machine protec t ion, the Control Test Auto mated Test should be do ne at least

once per month. See Tabl e 3 for safety control settings. See Table 8 for Cont rol Test functions .

Changing Oil Filter

Change the oil filter on a ye ar ly ba sis or when the machine is ope ned for repairs. The 19XL

has an isolatable oil filt er so that the filter may be c ha nged with the refrig er an t remaining in the

machine. Use the foll owi ng procedure:

1. Make sure that the compressor is off, and the disconnect for the compressor is open.

2. Disconnect the powe r to t he oi l pump.

3. Close the oil filter is ol ation valves (Figure 4).

4. Connect an oil chargi ng hose from the oil chargi ng valve (Figure 4), and place the other end

in a clean container suit able for used oil. The oil drained from the filter hou sing should be

used as an oil sample to be sent to a laborator y for proper analysis.

5. Slowly open the chargin g valve to drain the oil fro m the housing.
