leaving condenser wa te r temperature. If this read ing is more than what the desi gn difference is
supposed to be, then the co nde nser tubes may be dirty, or water flow may be incorre ct.
Because HCFC-22 and HFC134-a are high- pressure refrige rants, air usually do es not enter the
machine, rather, th e r ef rigerant leaks out.
During the tube cleaning process, use brushes especially designed to avoid scraping and
scratching the tube wall. Contact your Carrier representative to obtain these brushes.

Do not

use wire brushes.
Water Leaks
Water is indi cated during mach ine operation by the refrigeran t moisture ind icator (Figure 2A
or Figure 2B) on the refrige rant motor cooling li ne. Water leaks should be repair ed immediately.
