Occupancy Schedule
This schedule determin es when the chiller is eit he r occupied or unoccup ied.
Each schedule consi s ts of from one to 8 occupied/u noc c u pied time periods, se t b y the
operator. These time per io ds can be enabled to be in effe c t, or not in effect, on each day of the
week and for holidays. T he day begins with 0000 ho urs and ends with 2400 hours . The machine
is in OCCUPIED mode unless an unoccupied time peri od is in effect.
The machine will shut do wn whe n the schedule goes to UNO CCUPIED. These sched ules
can be set up to follow the bu ild ing schedule or to be 10 0% O CCUPIED if the operator wi shes.
The schedules also can be by pa ssed by forcing the Sta rt/Stop command on the PIC Status
screen to start. The sche dules also can be overr idd en to keep the unit in an OCC UPIED mode
for up to 4 hours, on a one-tim e ba sis.
Figure 18 shows a schedule for a typical office buildi ng time schedule, wit h a 3-hour, off-peak
cool down perio d from midnight to 3 a.m., following a w eekend shutdown . Example: Hol iday
