Motor-Compressor

This component maintains system temperature/pressure differences and moves the heat

carrying refrigerant from the cooler to the condenser.

Control Center

The control center i s the user interface f or controlling the machine. It regulate s the machine’s

capacity as required t o m ain tain proper leavin g c hil led water temperatu re. The control cente r :

• registers cooler, condenser, and lubricating system pressures

• shows machine operating condi tion and alar m shutdown cond itions

• records the total mac hin e operating hours

• sequences machine start, stop, and recycle under microprocessor control

• provides access to other CCN (Carrier Comfort Network) devices

Factory-Mounted Starter (Optional)

The starter allows for the proper starting and di s c onn ecting of the electr ic al energy for the

compressor-motor, oil pump, oil heater, and control panels.

Storage Vessel (Optional)

There are 2 si zes of storage vessels avail able. The vess els have double relief valves , a

magnetically coupled dial-type refrige r ant level gage, a one-inch F PT drain valve, and a 1/2-i n.
