Optional Pumpout Safety Control Settings (Figure 40)

The optional pumpout system high-pressure switch should open at 220 ± 5 psig (1517 ±

34 kPa) and should reset au tomatically on press ur e dr o p to 190 psig (1310 kPa) fo r HCF C-22

machines. For m achines using HF C-134a, the swit ch opens at 161 psig (1110 kPa) and closes

at 130 psig (896 kPa). Chec k th e switch setting by opera ting the pumpout compr es s or an d

slowly throttling the pumpout condenser wate r.
