Machine Familiarization

Machine Inf ormation Pl ate

The information plat e is loc a ted on the right side of th e machine control cent er pa nel.

System Compo nents

The components include the cooler and conde nser heat ex changers in se parate vessels,

motor-compressor, lubrication package, control center, and motor starter. All connections from

pressure vessels have external threads to enable each component to be pressure tested with a

threaded pipe cap during factory assembly.

Cooler

This vessel (also known as th e evaporator) is loc at ed underneath the comp ressor. The

cooler is maintained at lower temperature /p ressure so that evapora ting refrigerant can remove

heat from water flowing through its internal tubes.

Condenser

The condenser operate s at a higher temperature /pressure than th e c ool er, and has water
