Unit-Mounted Wye-Delta Starter (Optional)

The 19XL machin e may be equip ped with a wye-d elta starter mount ed on the un it. This

starter is intended for us e wit h low-voltage motors (und er 600 v). It reduces the start ing current

inrush by connecting eac h ph ase of the motor windings int o a wye configuration. T his oc c u rs

during the starting perio d when the motor is acceler at ing up to speed. After a tim e del ay, once

the motor is up to speed, the starter automatically c onn ects the phase winding s int o a delta

configuration.
