6. Mount the new module in the unit control box using a long-shaft Phillips screwdriver and the
screw saved in Step 4 above. Make sure that the green grounding wire is reinstalled along
with the mount ing screw.
7. Connect the LID commu nic a tion wires (CCN bus) and t he power wires. If CCN wir ing has
been attached to the CCN bu s, disconnect the wir es . Attach the sensor bus plug and the
input and output plugs .
8. Carefully check all wir in g connections befor e r es t oring power.
9. Restore control powe r and verify that the red an d green LEDs on the PSIO are fu nctioning
properly.
10. Access the Attach to Network Device table on the LID Service menu. Set the local device
address to Bus 0, Address 90. Press the ATTACH softkey to upload the PSIO into the LID.
11. Change the address of the PSIO in the Controller Ide nt ification table back to the previous
value. Write the address on the PSIO.
12. Use the configuration sheets to input setpo int , configuration, an d s c hed ule information into
the PSIO. The Time and Date tabl e als o must be set. A Building Superv is or c an be us e d to
download, the old conf ig uration into the PSI O.
13. Perform a Control Test and verify all tests.
If the software version has been updated, a CCN down load of the configurat ion will not be
allowed. Configure the PSIO by hand, and upload the PSIO into the networ k by us ing the
Attach to Network Device table.
