Attempt to solve the problem by using the following preliminary checks before consulting t he
troubleshooting t ables.
When the power is off:
Inspect for physical dam a ge and signs of arcing, over h eating, etc.
Is the wiring to the start er correct?
Are all connections in the starter tight?
Is the current feedbac k re s is t or properly adjusted and in stalled?
Is a heater coil install ed in each leg of the motor?
Is the control transformer fuse blown?
Is the motor connected to the starter?
