To configure a pattern that must be matched to determine if a user is roaming, use the settlement roam-patterncommand in global configuration mode. To delete a particular pattern, use the no form of this command.

settlement provider-numberroam-pattern pattern {roaming no roaming}

no settlement provider-numberroam-pattern pattern {roaming no roaming}

Syntax Description	provider-number	Digit defining the ID of particular settlement server. The only valid entry is 0.
	pattern	Specifies a user account pattern.
	roaming no roaming	Determines whether a user is roaming.

Multiple “roam patterns” could be entered on one gateway.

The following example will configure a pattern that determines if a user is roaming:
