Delete Snapshot Virtual Disk

Description

This command deletes a snapshot virtual disk and optionally the associated snapshot repository members.

NOTE: You cannot use this command for snapshot images involved in online virtual disk copy.

Syntax

delete snapVirtualDisk ["snapVirtualDiskName"] [deleteRepositoryMembers=(TRUE FALSE)]

Parameters

Parameter	Description
snapVirtualDisk	The name of the snapshot virtual disk that you
	want to delete. Enclose the snapshot virtual disk
	identifier in double quotation marks (" ") inside
	square brackets ([ ]).
deleteRepositoryMembers	The parameter to save or delete the repository
	members. To save the repository members, set this
	parameter to FALSE. To delete the repository
	members, set this parameter to TRUE. The default
	value is TRUE. If you do not use this parameter the
	repository members are automatically deleted.

Delete Snapshot Virtual Disk or Delete Snapshot Virtual Disk Schedule

Description

This command deletes one or more snapshot virtual disks or snapshot repository virtual disks. You can also use this command to remove schedules for creating snapshots.

CAUTION: All of the data in the virtual disk is lost as soon as you run this command. If you are using the schedule option to delete the snapshot schedule, ensure that you do not inadvertently delete the virtual disk.

Syntax

delete (virtualDisk [virtualDiskName] virtualDisks [ virtualDiskName1... virtualDiskNameN]) [schedule]
