To set the time interval between heartbeat messages that are transmitted by the CSM, use the heartbeat-timecommand in the SLB fault-tolerant configuration submode. To restore the default heartbeat interval, use the no form of this command.

heartbeat-time heartbeat-timeno heartbeat-time

Syntax Description	heartbeat-time	Time interval between heartbeat transmissions in seconds; the range
		is from 1 to 65535.
Defaults	Heartbeat time is 1 second.

Examples	This example shows how to set the heartbeat time to 2 seconds:
