allows the analyzer mode only to be preset. Table 6-12 lists the conditions affected by the PRESET function. Other operating modes will not be affected. See the description of the [MODE) key.

In addition, pressing PRESET SPECTRUM erases user-generated graphics and blanks the active-function block that is on the analyzer screen.

Pressing PRESET SPECTRUM disposes of ONEOS, ONSWP, and TRMATH. These are remote programming commands; see the HP 8590 E-Series and L-Series Spectrum Analyzers and HP 8591 C Cable TV Analyzer Programmer’s Guide for more information.
