Spectrum Analyzer Mode Key Descriptions

Spectrum Analyzer Mode Functions

changes the rear MONITOR output between normal internal monitor horizontal and vertical synchronization constants or the NTSC video compatible format. In the NTSC mode the monitor output is compatible with NTSC video cassette recorders. In the normal mode the synchronization constants can be changed from the factory default settings by using CRT NOR2 POSITION and CRT VERT POSITION softkeys. If the user has not changed the constants the default settings will be used.

The display will be compressed slightly when using the NTSC format, instead of the normal format. The NTSC format has less vertical resolution than the analyzer display. The top and bottom of the analyzer display are compressed slightly so that all of the information can be fit into the vertical resolution available with the NTSC format.
