This appendix provides detailed information concerning the features and translations that make up the ISDN Ordering Code (IOC) standardized capability package “S”, as well as the Multiline Hunt (MLH) feature. The MLH feature is provisioned using either the Multiline Hunt Group or the Series Completion feature, depending on the CO switch type.

Specific translations are provided for the following switches:

■Lucent Technologies 5ESS

■Northern Telecom DMS-100

■Siemens SSC EWSD

After determining that the local service provider offers National ISDN-1 service, the information contained in this appendix should be given to the local service provider if necessary.

NOTE:

The programming screens shown in this appendix are representative samples only. The local service provider will need to enter applicable data (such as the telephone numbers) where necessary. Also note that the programming covered in this appendix does not take place on the MERLIN LEGEND Communications System. All programming is performed by the local service provider on the CO switch.
