show ip ospf database

This command displays the link state database. This command takes no options. The information below will only be displayed if OSPF is enabled.

Format

show ip ospf database

Mode

Privileged EXEC and User EXEC

Router ID

Is a 32 bit dotted decimal number representing the LSDB inter-

 

face.

Area ID

Is the IP address identifying the router ID.

LSA Type

The types are: router, network, ipnet sum, asbr sum, as external,

 

group member, tmp 1, tmp 2, opaque link, opaque area.

LS ID

Is a number that "uniquely identifies an LSA that a router origi-

 

nates from all other self originated LSA's of the same LS type."

Age

Is a number representing the age of the link state advertisement in

 

seconds.

Sequence

Is a number that represents which LSA is more recent.

Checksum

Is to total number LSA checksum.

Options

This is an integer. It indicates that the LSA receives special han-

 

dling during routing calculations.

show ip ospf interface

This command displays the information for the IFO object or virtual interface tables.

Format

show ip ospf interface <slot/port>

Mode

Privileged EXEC and User EXEC

IP Address

Represents the IP address for the specified interface. This is a

 

configured value.

Subnet Mask

Is a mask of the network and host portion of the IP address for the

 

OSPF interface. This value was configured into the unit. This is a

 

configured value.

OSPF Admin Mode

States whether OSPF is enabled or disabled on a router interface.

 

This is a configured value.

OSPF Area ID

Represents the OSPF Area Id for the specified interface. This is a

 

configured value.
