show ip route entry
This command displays detailed information about the route to a specific network to be displayed. The value for <networkaddr> is a valid IP address.
Format | show ip route entry <networkaddr> |
Mode | Privileged EXEC and User EXEC |
Network Address | Is a valid network address identifying the network on the speci- |
| fied interface. |
Subnet Mask | Is a mask of the network and host portion of the IP address for the |
| attached network. |
Protocol | Tells which protocol added the specified route. The possibilities |
| are: local, static, OSPF or RIP. |
Next Hop Interface | The outgoing router interface to use when forwarding traffic to |
| the next destination. |
Next Hop IP Address | The outgoing router IP address to use when forwarding traffic to |
| the next router (if any) in the path toward the destination. |
Metric | The metric value that is used for this route entry. |
show ip route preferences
This command displays detailed information about the route preferences. Route preferences are used in determining the best route. Lower router preference values are preferred over higher router preference values.
