Tokens are supported in the Text: field of Pop-up,E-mail, Pager and SNMP

Trap alerts, in the Arguments: field of Application alerts and in the

Subject: field of E-mailand Pager alerts. They are not supported in any other fields.

If you manually type a token in an unsupported field then it will not be replaced with the dynamic value when the alert is generated, and so will appear exactly as it is typed.
