The Welcome dialog box

When 3Com Network Director is opened it displays the Welcome dialog box:

If you have not yet registered 3Com Network Director and it is still in the evaluation period, the first dialog box you see when launching the application is the About dialog box. Closing this takes you to the Welcome dialog box.

When you select the Create a new network map option and click OK, the Network Discovery wizard is launched.

File > New

From the main menu, when you select the New option from the File menu the Network Discovery wizard is launched. This is identical to choosing Create a new network map from the Welcome dialog box.
